HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING :
The balance is processed during your stay – except for high season stays (Christmas/New year/public holiday periods) when the balance is payable 21 days in advance of stay.
On receipt of deposit we send a package of information, including, letter of confirmation, directions, touring map and regional information to help you plan your trip.
Check in 4.30 pm – Check out 11.00 am –
Cancellation Policy: Deposit is non refundable if less than 14 days notice is given of cancellation.
10% of the deposit amount applies as an admin fee regardless of amount of notice.
High season stays: Total sum of accommodation tariff is non refundable with less than 21 days notice of cancellation.
In the event of cancellation – we will make every effort (and so could you) to rebook the dates – If this occurs, we are able to refund your deposit/or total tariff – less 10% admin.
SUMMER BOOKING ~ CANCELLATION POLICY: Please visit www.cfa.vic.gov.au to understand the Victorian bushfire warning system. CODE RED (catastrophic) days are very rare. However, in the event of an authorized CFA designated *CODE RED fire warning being called for our district, (Western) we reserve the right to cancel all or part of your booking for your own safety. In this instance, a credit note to the value of portion of stay affected will be provided. Conditions apply: Use of credit notes are subject to availability, valid for one booking, valid for 12 months from date of cancelled stay, & are not valid during peak holiday periods (Christmas/January/Easter) or long weekends. Guests should be aware that the “Western” region includes a diversity of topography & weather patterns. We suggest that you speak with us to clarify & discuss the actual weather situation here in this locale prior to making a final decision on your travel plans.
We recommend guests consider Travel Insurance when booking a holiday.
Note: Minimum bookings of 7 nights apply over the Christmas/New Year & 3 or 4 night minimums may apply over public holidays
CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING: We ask guests to be considerate when staying at Otway Cottage – and appreciate guests letting us know if there have been any concerns. No smoking inside. Please leave the property in a clean & tidy condition.
**A $50.00 Refundable Bond applies and is refunded to guests when property is left in a clean and reasonably tidy condition with no damage. We reserve the right to retain the bond to cover the cost of excess cleaning & repair if/when property is left in unacceptable condition. Guests agree to bear the cost of repair (at quoted cost) if structural damage occurs
Holidaying with Pets – Pets are welcome at Otway Cottage.
We ask guests to ensure that pets are supervised at all times during your stay and never left on the property unsupervised. Pets are welcome inside – but are not allowed on furniture or in the bedrooms. Dog hair and droppings and any mess should be cleaned.
